ST0501-CS090324 (2)(9/2/2009) DiWanna Baskins -Questions from an HOA Board member From: Marybeth Spletzer To: DiWanna Baskins Date: 3/24/2009 4:32 PM Subject: Questions from an HOA Board member DiWanna: received this email from Douglas Robinson today. He's serves on our Board of Adjustment, and is also a board member for his Cambridge Manor HOA. I spoke with Lee about these questions and he suggested that I forward them to you, and perhaps you or someone in Engineering could contact Doug concerning his questions. His email address is: dorobins willscot.com Thanks so very much! On two other issues, I am on our Neighborhood's HOA Board, and need to gain information for some agenda items. Would you please direct me to the best contact at the City of Coppell for the following: 1) Estates of Cambridge Manor has a detention pond nearest and due north of the intersection of Deforest and Castle Creek Drive. At the north end of the pond we have a weir and concrete channel/canal to carry pond overflow into Denton Creek. The neighborhood would like to build afoot-bridge over the 5' deep channel, primarily for lawn and landscape maintenance on the far side of the pond. Many times through the year, higher water elevations at the southeast corner of the pond prevent access to the east side of the pond. Is this a simple City of Coppell Permit issue, or are we getting into required approvals from the Corp of Eng.? 2) A majority of neighborhood homeowners did not attend the informational meeting last October for the improvement of Deforest Rd., to begin later this year. Our HOA Board is receiving questions that can be answered with a copy of the most current design showing sidewalks, and text on the planned Deforest traffic patterns during construction. Please let me know contact(s) or please feel free to forward these questions.
