Acker: The City of Coppel! have received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the foliowin~ comments to offer: If the R.O.W. for Wran~ier Drive has not previously been platted, then it will need to be dedicated/platted prioz to construction. 2i Ail the appropriate standard detail sheets should be attached. 3) A sheet index should be provided. 4) A signature block for the City Engineer should be provided. Please notice the attached copy. 5) The pavement width should be 48 foot back-to-back not 45 foot as shown. This street is shown as a C4U major collector in the Thoroughfare Plan for the City of Coppell. 6) The R.O.W. should be 70 foot not 65 foot as shown. 7) Note that the lime stabilization should be 6% by weight not 5% as shown. 8) You should clarify on the plans whether you are proposing to connect to the existing roadway or barricade this section of Wrangler Drive. 9} Wheelchair ramp flairs will be required for the brick pavers as per the City of Coppell Streetscape Plan. I0) All hydrologic calculations should be provided. Also, ail off-site drainage areas should be shown. Please note that the drainage design has not been thorou§hly reviewed until all the aforementioned draina§e calculations have been provided. Letter to Mr. Pat Acker March 5, 1992 Page 2 11] The Subdivision Rules and Regulations require that Technical Paper 40 be utilized for drainage calculations not Hydro 35. If you wish to use Hydro 35, please submit a request in writing. 12) Please notice the comments on Sheet D2. 13] As previously stated, the drainage design has not been thoroughly reviewed until all drainage calculations have been provided. However, please note that profiles should be provided for ali laterals show~ on the plans. !4) Additional information about the design, installation and hydraulics, should be provided for the upstream and downstream end of the drainage system. 15) Please note that the 8" sanitary sewer line as shown on the south side of Wrangler Drive does not currently exist. This should be constructed as part of this project. 16) Please notice the comments concerning the installation of the 12" Gate valve on the waterline and the gate valve on the fire hydrant lead. 17) The 12" water line should be extended and tied into the existing water line in Enterprise Drive. Additional comments not noted in this letter are shown in the plans. Once these comments have been addressed, the review set should be returned with a revised set of plans. Please note that if any changes not requested are made on the plans, those changes should be itemized in a cover letter.
