The Southwestern Blvd. reconstruction project (from S.
Coppell Rd. to Denton Tap) will begin the week of August 17,
2009. The project includes replacing the existing 24 foot wide
asphalt street with a 41 foot wide concrete street with
improved drainage. In addition, the project includes
installation of new water and sewer lines and a sidewalk on the
north side. The bridge over Grapevine Creek will also be
reconstructed as part of the project. Two-way traffic will be
maintained for the duration project which is expected to last
approximately 10 months.
