It looks like Schematic is approved by our division with a minor comment (width of shared used trail path). I was told to
get a design waiver approved at this stage of PS&E is painful, therefore I am recommending that if it is acceptable by the
City of Coppell, you go ahead and provide a 10 ft wide shared used path and be over.
For your view I am attaching a copy of our division approval into that effect.
As requested in following a-mail from Bruce Nolley, please forward me a PDF copy and three additional hard copies of the
schematic for distribution.

Attached is the approval memo for the Sandy Lake Road schematic. Please note their comment regarding the trail portion
of the project.
If you during the PS&E phase you can revise the width of the trail to 10' you do not have to resubmit the Form 1002 with a
"Design Waiver". If you decide to keep the 8' wide trail we will need to resubmit the Form 1002 (pg 3) requesting a
"Design Waiver." The sooner you all make a decision on this matter the better.
I will need a PDF copy and three additional hard copies of the schematic for distribution here at the District.
