Sandy Lake is proposing that we use a title company to close the acquisition, and that we purchase title insurance. They are concerned that there may be liens on the property that we have no knowledge of, and that we could therefore open ourselves to liability by not doing a title search. Attached is a cost analysis of using the title company and purchasing a title policy. Do you have an opinion on this? I have never gone this route before, but he does make a good point.
