To Whom It May Concern:
Was wondering if you all are the ones this comes to and if not can you please pass it along to
which it does. There are two NO U-TURN signs located on Beltline between MacArthur and
Fairways that have signs there that say this and really and truly needs to be reconsidered as U-
Turns so this way people are not going to a main intersection like Fairways/Beltline to make those
U Turns. These ones where it says not to are located near that Baptist Church and the other
near the Veterinary (Sherri II). Those are perf ect places to make u-turns without having to go to
a major light to do it. I agree that the one No U-Turn on beltline that leads into Tom Thumb is
needed but the other two are not.
I f eel like it's better for them to reconsider that for those two locations, it's safer because the
amount of traffic making the turn is not much during the day when people are at work but it
keeps people from getting hurt and I can see that these u-turns at busy intersection being deadly
because people have no choices but to do it there. There are no signs at the major intersection
of Fairways/Beltline that states on u-turns and someone is going to get seriously hurt if they
haven't already. That there should be a wake up call and say hey lets open those two up to u-
turns.
