Based on my review of the ITE Trip Generation Manual Edition 7, there will be about 30 vehicles per hour turning into the northern drivewa` ay t Highland and the southern driveway near the nronosed Rosa's Cafe. Based on my traffic experience as a Profession En~i~, it~ opinion that the vehicles turning into the property during the peak hour will not create a safe issue. A letter similar to the above, that includes the signature and seal of a professional engineer, will remove the requirement to construct the deceleration lane at this time. As we discussed yesterday, an agreement will be drafted to require the deceleration lane with the next phase of construction. Ken Griffin, P. E. I probably did not follow everything you said in the meeting as I was trying to write myself notes and also understand your points. I want to make sure I provide our civil engineer with the correct information in order to provide you and your team with the appropriate supplemental traffic data as it relates to the possibility of a deceleration lane at the project's southern entrance along Denton Tap Road. We very much wantto draftthe supplemental letter correctly the first time in order to not waste any of your time with review. If it is okay, I plan to call you shortly to get your further guidance on this topic. Thanks for working with us on this matter. As requested, we have evaluated the traffic generated by Phase Cane and summarized it below in Table 1. The generated traffic is subsequently distributed across the driveways utilizing the NCTCGG 2034 Daily traf~~c projections adjacent to this site. The 2030 traffic volumes are listed below in Table 2. The projected traffic on SH-121 NBFR represents approximately 45°Io, and Denton Tap Road traffic volumes represent approximately 55°~Q of the total traffic adjacent to the project site. we anticipate that approximately half of the traffic entering the project site from Denton Tap Road would typically enter each of the driveways along Denton Tap Road.
