Hello DiWanna,
In reading the Sidewalk Easement, I have the following questionslissues:
1. Last paragraph. "Grantee shall, except for removed obstructions,
return the surface area of the Easement to its original condition as
nearly as practical...." The language, "except for removed
obstructions" should be stricken. It's my understanding that it is
necessary to make modifications to the rock around the monument sign.
thought it was our agreement that the city would put this back to its
original condition as close as possible.
2. Last sentence, "...Grantee shall not be obligated for future
maintenance and upkeep ofthe surface area." This should be "Grantor".

Hello Jay,
Thanks for working with the city on this sidewalk project! I have
attached the easement documents that will need to be signed and returned
to me. As I stated in our last conversation, the city will build and
maintain the proposed retaining wall that will be located on your
property.
I am in the process of working with the other property owners to move
forward with this project.
I know the citizens are excited about continuous sidewalk along Denton
Tap and I think it will have a positive outcome for businesses along
Denton Tap and the City of Coppell.
I will keep in touch and work with you on the construction timeline and
all that comes with that once we get to that point. If you have any
questions, suggestions, or want to inquire on the status of the project;
please don't hesitate to call or email me.
