Dear Sir:
The City of Coppell is currently advertising for bids on the referenced project. Bids will be
received by the Purchasing Department in the City of Coppell Town Center, 255 Parkway Blvd.
until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6th, 1995, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
A pre-bid conference will be held at Coppell Town Center on June 15th, at 2:00 p.m. in the first
floor conference room.
The scope of work for this project is generally as follows:
The project consist of three separate sewer line installations. All three lines basically
originate at the intersection of Denton Tap Road with Bethel Road. One section goes south
along Denton Tap Road, one goes north along Denton Tap Road and one goes west along
Bethel Road. All three projects combined will generally consist of the installation of
approximately: 496 L.F. of 8" sewer; 3,962 L.F. of 10" sewer; 6,086 L.F. of 12" sewer;
4,353 L.F. of 15" sewer; 47 manholes and 1,034 feet of 20" boring. The work to be
performed shall be as shown on the construction plans (SS 94-02) and shall consist of
furnishing all labor, equipment, tools and incidentals necessary to complete the work,
including but not limited to: excavations, backfills, pipe, carrier pipe, disposal of waste
materials, etc., as described in the plans and specifications. There are various other items
associated with this project including pavement repair and service reconnection that are more
specifically described in the bid.
