thank you so much! This is exactly what Iwanted - I understand that these things take time. It's great to see
that the city is still working on it. I'll look forward to a timeline whenever you get one.
thanks again,
Leslie

Ms. Feray
I have asked my staff to follow up with TXU to determine how and when power will be provided. At
that point we will be able to determine cost and decide if we can do the project now or need to budget
for it. Once we determine how power will be installed and how it will be funded, we have to work
with our power supply company (Direct Energy) to get a meter set. This process seems to be taking
longer and longer. It took about six weeks to finally get power to our new traffic lights on west
Sandy Lake, near SH 121. I know the bridge light request has been longer but I'm not sure we
followed up with TXU.
I have asked my Assistant Director of Public Works to provide me an update and I hope to be able to
provide you a timeline next week.
I'm sorry for the delay in at least providing you an update and what action we will take on the bridge
lights.

Ken -
I had e-mailed you shortly before Christmas regarding street lights that were out both over the MacArthur
Bridge at Denton Creek channel and in the median at the Coppell/Lewisville border. I'm happy to say that the
City of Lewisville has fixed all the median lights and they are working now (much brighter!)
However, as you know the bridge lights are still not functional. Would it be possible to get a brief update from
the city on the latest on these lights? Residents of our neighborhood (the Peninsulas) keep asking at assoc.
meetings. Is it still in process to get a meter run to those lights? Is it not going to happen? We understand
there is a significant cost and complications involved, but would REALLY like an update on their status.
Please a-mail me or feel free to call me at 972-304-5184.
Thanks so much -
Leslie Feray
