By observation, all burp's appear to be effective and appropriate: No testing of the waterways have been done
therefore, no data has been collected for comparison. We have received positive feedback from the public regarding
the stormwater education. Municipal employees are more cognizant of pollution prevention practices. Contractors
working in the City of Coppell are also cognizant of pollution prevention practices.

No testing of the waterways have been done, therefore, no data has been collected for comparison. We have received
positive feedback from the public regardinq the stormwater education. Municipal employees are more cognizant of
pollution prevention practices and have altered some of their procedures in order to comply with the permit.
Contractors working in the City of Coppell are also cognizant of pollution prevention practices. We have not received
complaints regardinq illegal dumping or discharges into the creek. We have received phone calls from residents
asking questions regardinq storm water tips and ideas in the water bill inserts. We are looking to get volunteers from
residents to begin a sampling program in the next year or two If sampling will be required in the future we would like

to have a program in place.
4. Provide a general evaluation of the program's progress, including any obstacles or challenges encountered in implementing
BMPs, meeting the program's schedule, etc.:
The progress is coming along, the City of Coppell has recently implemented an EMS for our service center which has
helped with complyinq with MCM#6 Involving other departments is somewhat a difficult task. Making sure that the other
departments have completed their tasks and provide us with the documentation in complying with the SWMP can be a task
in itself.
5. Provide the number of construction activities (other than those where the permittee was the operator) that occurred within
the regulated area as indicated via notices of intent or site notices:
There were 10 construction activities that required a NOI or a construction site notice

volunteers, Clean Coppell Earthfest with over 200 booths including the City of Coppell storm water booth and
distributed 200 doggie dispensors and had 1200 volunteers for Litter Clean up. Water wise tour of the dallas water
district which included two municipal sites. Included 3,974 column inches in articles in the Dallas Morning News,
Citizen's Advocate, and the Coppell Gazette for information pertaining to public education and outreach.
C.) We are currently completing our illicit discharge ordinance and there are additional items that will be included
as prohibited discharges other than those already listed in the general permit. The list will be included in year 3
annual report.
8. Describe any proposed changes to the SWMP in the coming reporting year.
None at this time.
9. Describe any activities planned for the next permit year /reporting cycle.
Continue existing BMP's including revise the storm water website, public education programs, train field staff to
detect and eliminate illicit discharges, implement the illicit discharge management ordinance, complete the review of
the ISWM manual and adopt the appropriate sections. Develop and implement the pollution prevention plans for
