RE: Annual Street and Alley Repair Contract
Dear Mr. Khalaf:
This letter is in regards to the Annual Street and Alley Repair Contract that Procon Paving is
currently working on in the City of Coppell.
Procon Paving has had an open hole in the street at the intersection of Plantation and Steamboat
Drive for over a month. This situation has taken too much time and needs to be corrected
immediately. The City of Coppell will not pay for the use of high early strength concrete at this
location since it has been blocked for this length of time.
Also, the City of Coppell is concerned about the lack of effort in responding to homeowner
complaints in a timely manner. Work performed at 403 Cambria resulted in an irrigation
problem that took 3 weeks to get resolved. After the work was completed, a shovel was left
leaning against the house and the job was left in unsatisfactory condition. The City finds these
efforts to be unacceptable.
The City would like to set up a meeting for early next week to discuss the contract. Please
