From: Ken Griffin To: Jim Witt Date: 7/26/2007 8:51 AM Subject: Re: Do you have a cost per parking spaces in concrete? Jim Just the parking space area about $750. The parking space area and 1/2 the fire lane that serves it about $1250. Atypical parking space is 9' x 19' this is 171 sf or 19 sy. The construction is made up of concrete, lime, subgrade preparation & fill/excavation. The following is the estimated cost for each component: Concrete $30/sy Lime $2.20/sy subgrade Preparation $2/sy Fill/Excavation $3.50/ sy (30 + 2.2 + 2 + 3.3) x 19 = $712.5 x 10% contingency = $780 per parking space. If you include 1/2 the fire lane that serves the parking space the cost would go up to about $1250 per parking space. ken g »> Jim Witt 7/25/2007 4:02 PM »> file://C:1Documents and SettingslradloolLocal SettingslTemplXPgrpwise146A860A6City_... 12/7/2009
