Thanks foryour inquiry. Since the majority of the ?'S are technical and procedural I will refer them to our
Engineering Department for a response. We will either email the responses back or call you to provide
clarity and try to avoid the "email circle" from developing.

Subject: Chaucer Estates -Pond Dredging
HiJim-
Justfollowing up with you on the Chaucer Estates pond dredging scheduled
forthis summer. One of our homeowners has been working with Brad Reid on
the trail from the park to the library. Chaucer is planning to install
anothertrail from our neighborhood to connect to the one being built by
the City. This trail will be built along our pond.
It looks like construction on the trail will start around Oct. However,
if the trail budget is used, construction may start earlier. Question is
how can we coordinate the building of the trails with the pond dredging?
Would it make sense to have the pond dredged first and then build the
trails? It looks like we need to coordinate these projects to get the
optimal results.
Also, will the City communicate to us on the work to be done before the
dredging begins? I've had a number of questions about the dredging
-how deep will the dredging be?
-will the banks of the pond be filled in back to original state?
-how will the pond be accessed and type of equipment will be used?
-will the City repair any damages to our landscape? i.e. sprinkler
heads, torn up grass, etc.
Any information you can provide will be helpful!! Feel free to give me a
call if it would be better to talk over the phone.
Thank you,
Monica Scrivner
