Yes, the board has decided to go with the $75,000 instead of the dredging project. What are our next steps?
Also, Ken Griffin had mention that if we ever decide to dredge, that the City could help us out with some of the
project management - i.e. inspections, checking on the work. This is with the understanding that the City would
have no liability. I would like to make some notes for the future - i.e. who we could call if we ever proceeded with
the pond dredging and what the City could help us out with.

We have opened bids on this project. We received only one bid for the
project. This bid was within our projected budget for the project.

I think that sounds like a good idea. Will you contact me when a
contractor has been selected? For now, just use me as the point of
contact.
Another question, (I know I will be asked this by a homeowner(s)) what
will be the $$ responsibilities of the HOA during this project? It sounds
like we are expected to take care of disconnecting the fountain, should I
expect other items to occur? I need to give the board a heads-up.
Basically, need to know when $$ cost will be paid for by the City & when
the HOA will be expected to pay.

Don't mean to be dense - but just want to make sure what I need to have
done. Where should the fountain be disconnected from? We can turn the
fountain 'off', but it sounds like more than turning the fountain 'off'.
As you can see, I'm an accountant and not an engineer!!
