R.E. Cupp Excavating is going to do it for me. They will remove 2' to 5' of silt from the pond. Can you tell me if you are going to require that I file any permit for this with the City? The info is greatly appreciated. I will contact them. Since the pond is an acre or less, I know I don't have to file a SWPPP. Would I (or my contractor} be required to get a permit or pay any fees to the City associated with this work? To say we have had a rough week in our family would bean understatement as three members of our extended family have passed away this week. I am forwarding your question to Ken Griffin as I believe he will be the person with the information you need. A number of years ago the City removed the silt. I think it is our turn now. Can you tell me the name of any contractors that you would suggest that I contact to get the silt removed?
