I've looked at the cost for the traffic light and we have already increased the amount that Council
authorized by over $16,500. This was because we used numbers that Robert gave us to go to Council
for approval. VVe originally received approval for about $169,000+/-. And, that number was
increased at the last minute from the previous number that Robert had given us. After Council
approved the $169,000+/-, Robert gave us a "real" price in the $185,800 range. That's how I already
went $16,500+/- over Council approval.
I think that Market Street should pay the bond fees. The bond is their contractors guarantee that they
will perform any maintenance needed on the light during a 2 year period that is a result of their
wor mans ip.
