Re: 535 Cooper St. Coppell, TX Easement
Dear Mr. Marvin:
Thank you for the information regarding the city's plans for road construction and
improvement. It appears as though the city has put careful thought into the
interests and safety of the residents, and as a property owner, I am grateful for that.
I would ask that you consider the following items as they relate to the home I have
on Cooper Lane:
1. The proposed $500.00 payment for the corner easement is acceptable.
O ' 2. I am requesting the sum of $1500.00 as compensation for the additions to
the irrigation system that will be required as a result of the lawn area that
will be created between the western fence line and the new sidewalk.
~ 3~ I am requesting the sum of $500.00 as compensation for any trees,
shrubbery, or landscaping that will have to be removed as a result of the
construction.
4. I am requesting the sum of $500.00 as compensation for the permanent
alteration of the driveway and the ensuing color mismatch that will occur
between the new concrete and the existing concrete.
5. I am requesting a commitment by the city and its contractor that the
fC construction on the driveway will last no more than seven (7) calendar
days, excepting weather related delays, and that for any days past that, I
be compensated $100.00 per day until complete as liquidated damage.
6. I will be photographing the areas of the property that will be affected, and
I am requesting that the city return all fencing, landscaping, buildings,
mailboxes, fixtures, etc. to equal or better condition than existed before
construction began.
7. I am requesting that the city notify both me and my tenant in writing of
any scheduled disruption to utility services prior to the outage, and that
any unscheduled disruption to utility services be responded to on an
emergency basis.
I hope that you find these requests reasonable. I am in full support of the city's
efforts, and would like to do all I can to accommodate you with the successful
implementation of your project.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss anything with me, please feel free to
call me at 972-849-5637.
Sincerely,
~~ v ~
