As per our meeting, we have discussed the various options and would like to request that the city consider the following proposals. We have had three (3) estimates provided for the proposed establishment of an additional irrigation section to our existing system to be located on the exterior of our west fence and intended to irrigate the new sod between our fence line and the new street as per the design plan. (Please see enclosures.) Each of the vendors did explain that pricing could not be guaranteed for twelve months, the estimated timeframe to project initiation. Therefore we are requesting $1,650 from the City of Coppell for the proposed irrigation project and potential price inflation. We are still greatly troubled by the thought of losing any of the bushes at the northwest corner of Cooper Lane and Coppell Road. We would very much like to keep these in tact if at all possible. If however, this is not possible, we are requesting $500 to be used for replacement with such to be at our discretion on time and location. Should the City of Coppell find these proposals acceptable, the agreement may be updated with such language and the final monetary amount noted as $2,650 ($500 sidewalk easement, $1,650 irrigation, $500 shrub). ~'~ Thank you for your consideration of these proposals. The zone will consist of 11 Toro pop-up spray heads with 12' 180 degree nozzles. The heads will be installed on 12' linear spacing with the spray pattern toward the street approximately 12' from the side street. The existing irrigation controller will be changed to a Rain Dia19 station controller and arain/freeze sensor will be installed. All associated pipe, wire, and fittings are included. Work must be coordinated with drive and walk removal by the city in order to facilitate the installation of the pipe and wire needed to the installation area. The major components that will be included in your irrigation system are the following: controller, wiring, heads, other valves and fittings.
