In regards to the changed conditions in several locations on~ the
project named above, the additional prices are listed below.
Due to the conditions and inability to access the areas to be bored
and/or tunneled, the contractor we selected to complete this work
has given us an additional cost. Because of the difficulty of
boring downhill, we propose to tunnel the bores. There are extra
costs to remove the guard rail to gain access and to truck the
excavated material (there is not a place to store the materials as
originally planned). Also, we now have to have traffic control to
use one (1) lane of Denton Tap Road as working space. Boring the
trees west of Denton Tap, we are faced with the same problems of
anCCessibility and nowhere to stock pile the excess dirt material~_~
he bore in Bethel School will require additional traffic control'
d specialized barricading due to the construction in the street._.~
These changes in construction methods also prevail for Pate
Brothers Construction during installation of the open cut sewer
along with extra trucking of material in the street areas as well
as the confined~arters along Denton Tap Road.
