Thanks for getting back to me.
As we discussed, we are almost at wit's end on what to do with these issues. Our appeal to the city was in
hopes of there being some "hammer" you could at least brandish, regardless of your intent or ability to use
it. Our Board finds it hard to believe how this matter slipped through the cracks, but feels that folks with no
real interest in maintaining property values, in the interest of saving a dollar, will have no desire to make
matters right without some external inducement.
I don't want to waste the time of you and staff if you feel there is nowhere left to go with this. As I told you,
while it is radical, our Board is willing to dissolve the association and let everyone fend for themselves. If
that is what is left to us, I will let them know and we can start discussions with our homeowners regarding
that tact.
Please advise, and I can communicate the message. We are all busy and a meeting, just for the sake of
having a meeting isn't in anyone's best interest.
As I said, I do appreciate your consideration.
Thanks.

Larry,
I have met on this several times with various staff. We do not have any really good suggestions either.
Let's try to set up a meeting between our City Attorney, Gary Sieb, Greg Jones, Ken Griffin and your HOA
officers thatwant to attend. I will attend also. Again, I do not knowwewill have any great awakening as
to what can be done otherthan our enforcing zoning requirements on the HOA and/or individual
homeowners where current improvements are failing.
Does another meeting make sense to you? Let me know and I will coordinate with our staff. As a general
rule, meeting with our attorney works well on Wednesday mornings around 8:30.

I know you were out when I sent this, so I wanted to forward my message to you once again. Several of
our Board members have inquired recently as to what your staff conversationslinvestigations have yielded
regarding our situation. I know this isn't a "top of the stack" project, but the conditions we discussed
continue and will worsen with the expected summer heat. We really could use some assistance, if the City
can provide any. We are out of ideas.
Please let me know when you can.
Thanks.

Ithas been some time since we last spoke on the CC&Rlsurvey issues at Asbury Manor. I know that you,
like I, have been swamped, but I don't want to lose site of these issues. Any chance you might have some
time in the next few weeks to discuss what your conversations with staff have uncovered? I am traveling
mostall of this week, and late next week, but would like to find a time, when you are ready, obviously, to
get back with you on these matters.
Please let me know when you can. Hope all is well and I will see you soon.
Thanks.
