Asbury Manor-CS071217(12118/2009) Ken Griffin -Asbury Manor From: Clay Phillips To: Brad Reid; Gary Sieb; Date: 12/ 17/2007 9:20 AM Subject: Asbury Manor Greg Jones; Ken Griffin; Tim Oates Some of the homeowners and the HOA at Asbury Manor have requested that we conduct the meeting we offered them some time ago. I believe most, if not all of you met on this issue. Gary sent the HOA and some of the homeowners a letter regarding the City's overall position. I would like to coordinate an on-site meeting between all parties involved shortly after the first of the year. Toward that end, I am forwarding Larry Kingsburry a number of dates to choose from. I will copy each of you on that correspondence. Call with questions. As to individual homeowners, I can't speak to them and don't have theire-mail addresses. Maywant to pick a date and make them aware, hoping they can come, via the mail. If it is far enough out, I don't mind going to knock on a doorortwo. Let me know, Clay. Thanks. Clay Phillips Deputy City Manager (972)304-3662 cphillip@ci.coppell.tx. us »> <kbury99@aol.com> 12/151200710:29 AM »> Clay - From our last conversation, and those previous thereto, we have beed expecting to hear back from Gary Sieb about an all parties meeting on the easement issues. We realize it is the Christmas season upcoming, but we think advance planning/notice of this meeting will be necessary. It has been nearly two months since we first discussed such a meeting and, other than Gary's letter basically indicating that such a meeting might not be necessary, we haven't heard a word from him. Meanwhile, independent actions, Page (12118/2009) Ken Griffin - Re: Asbury Manor both bad and good, are ongoing out there without any direction or definition. In addition, regarding the deeding of the drainage easement to the city, we want to put that before our HOA memebership for a vote early next year, so we need to see what is being proposed in that regard as soon as possible. We are actually hoping to use that deeding as an incentive to get our membership to amend our CC&Rs to give the HOA the power to enforce its' provisions. That, obviously, isn't the cityks problem, but we feel it in the best interest of the entire community, long term, if quality neighborhoods can remain qulaity neighborhoods, so we would hope the city would try to assist us in this regard. Anyway, we are just concerned that time is rapidly slipping by while nothing, seemingly, is being done. We hope you can try to get the individual staff involved more focused and get these various actions started. Please advise so that we can get our folks scheduled and assure the attendance of the appropriate parties on our side. Thanks for your interest and assistance with this matter.
