Clay -
When last we spoke, you mentioned something about some movement on the easement
issues out my way. Our Board of Directors has now gotten a draft of the revised CC&Rs we
are going to pitch to the neighbors. We need a "carrot" to give them to see if we can entice
them to sign up. As we have discussed, it is our hope that the takeover of the easement
maintenance/liability south of Westminster Way by the city can be that "carrot." Please advise
when we can have a letterfrom the city detailing that transfer. Even if the actual legal
paperwork is still a ways off, the letter will demonstrate to our homeowners that their BOD is
working in their best interest and, hopefully, give us enough credibility to pull the CC&R issue
"across the goal line."
Please let me know when you think we can get this letter, so we can start to plan for our
annual HOA meeting.
