Have you had a chance to review the attached scope and “next steps” after the study is completed? Luigi and I
are anxious to get this going, but want to be sure we understand next steps once you get the study. Can you
please confirm if we correctly understand what you said in our last meeting?

Mr. Griffin-
It has taken a little bit longer than expected, but Luigi and I are retaining Homeyer Engineering to do the
study that we discussed a few weeks ago to allow us to move our fences out approximately 50 feet
from their original location. I wanted to double check the scope of work with you to ensure this is what
you expect to see and how we finalize the status of the fence location.
Can you please confirm the report as described in the attached scope of work is what you want to see?
I also am not quite clear what the final approval is from your office. Would you give us a letter that
confirms receipt of the study and confirms we can install a fence inside the floodplain, subject to
homeowner association approval and obtaining a fence permit?
Also, I wanted to confirm that there aren’t city fees we need to pay to submit the report to your office.
You did mention when we met that we would have the typical fence permits, so we both are expecting
those costs.
