It is attached with this correspondence. Secondly, I investigated your complaint concerning water stagnating in the Denton Creek area near the MacArthur bridge expansion. Due to the construction as well as prior flooding events, I did observe some constricted flow areas and accumulated debris in the creek. I consulted with City Development Gonstruction Inspector, Larry Davis, as to the debris created from the contractor working on the bridge. Mr. Davis assured me on Wednesday, March 13, that clean up of the construction debris is a condition of completing the job; however, no City or contractor obligation exists to dredge or clear the natural obstructions created by prior flooding events. Thirdly, an investigation of the lift station at MacArthur and DeForest was conducted. Some odor was evident, but no overflowing sewage was noted. Since it is operated by the M.U.D. and not the City of Coppell, maintenance and oversight of that lift station is theLr responsibility. You may contact Jeff Hawkins, Pierce-Lunsford, at 871-2126 for additional information. I have no knowledge of state permit violations you alleged in your telephone complaint. Sincerely, Linda S. Varonich, R.S. Environmental Health Officer LSV:lt cc: Larry Davis, Development Construction Inspector
