Dear Mr. Sperling:
You are hereby given Not ice to Proceed on Water & Sewer
Improvements for MacArthur Blvd. You will need to coordinate
your work with that of Abrams Construction, the contractor
placing paving, storm sewer and bridge improvements for the
project, to avoid delays and schedule work effectively. I would
appreciate a bid from M-S Utilities to place the 18" storm sewer
lateral with drop inlet to the DeForest Road sewage lift station
site, as shown on the drawing I gave you at the preconstruction
meeting last week. We would like this work completed as early
as possible.
Enclosed are two fully executed bound sets of contract documents
for the project. Please forward one copy to your surety. You
should check with Mr. Larry Davis at the City of Coppell to make
sure you have satisfied the City's permit requirements prior to
placing utilities on site.
The calendar day contract time will begin the day you move a crew
on site to begin utility improvements, not to exceed 10 calendar
days from today. In accordance with the agreement, the work
should be substantially complete no later than March 22, 1991, 45
calendar days from today.
Please notify this office prior to moving a crew on site. I look
forward to working with M-S Utilities on this project.
