Basically, TxDOT is denying the request from Duke to modify the entrance ramp and connect Point West to it. This could impact development at the corner of Beltline /IH 635. The veopmee ve outbound trip percenta total 120% instead of 100%. The impact to the intersection of IH 635 at Belt Line Rd is never taken into account. Volumes were onl g iven for the drivewa on the entrance ramp which is the real issue with this development. The sole purpose of a ramp is for controlled access to the mainlanes. To have a vehicle exit the development at a low rate of speed less than 500 ft from the mer point of ramp to mainlaner traffic creates a serious safet issue. The Point West driveway is denied.
