Duke's engineer is currently working on a response. We should probably wait until TxDOT has a chance
to rule on the response before we start moving up the ladder at TxDOT. We sure have been on this road
a long time for TxDOT to come out at this stage and deny the road connection.

TxDOT is denying the request from Duke to modify the entrance ramp and connect Point West to it. This
could impact development at the corner of Beltline/IH 635. I copied Clay on Monday because I knew you
were out of town.
I have also emailed Duke's engineer to see what steps they are taking.

Mr. Griffin:
We have just received a memo from our traffic office whom has done a traffic impact study for the above
project. There's a problem in this impact which is stating in the memo as, "...creates a serious safety
issue".
I am attaching:
1. The memo
2. The traffic study that was sent to us by Mr. Jay London.
Please look at these documents, and reply to us before we can progress further on this project.
