Duke Lesley-CS071106 (12/22/2009) Ken Griffin - Re: Duke's Infrastructure, Transportation and Utilities Grant RequestPage 1 From: Chad Beach To:Mindi Hurley CC:Ken Griffin Date: 11/6/2007 4:22 PM Subject: Re: Duke's Infrastructure, Transportation and Utilities Grant Request Mindi, the agreement states the City will provide the Grants to the Company within 60 business days after receipt of the Payment Request, and approval of the design, installation and construction. I am waiting on Ken's department to accept and approve the water and sewer lines, paving and drainage infrastructure and the traffic signal. Sixty business days from Dukes Payment Request would be the first week or so of December, but the main issue is getting Ken's approval these projects are completed before we issue the $2.99 million reimbursement. I will followup with Ken to see how the approval process is going. >>> Mindi Hurley 11/6/2007 3:55 PM >>> Chad, Did you already cut the check for Duke? If not, will you let me know when it is ready. I have a meeting with them in two weeks, and I told them I would hand deliver the check if it was ready by then. Thanks for doing this! It appears Fund 19 has a sufficient amount of available funds to satisfy the Infrastructure and Transportation Grants as provided in the Eco Devo Agreement with Duke. The funds needed for the Utilities Grant are available from and will be provided by the Water and Sewer Fund. If anyone needs any of the detailed information from Duke's payment request, please let me know. Special thanks to Ken and Jennifer for helping resolve this issue.
