The City of Coppell has adopted the TMUTCD. Any roadway constructed within the city shall comply with the appropriate
signing and striping guidelines within the manual.
If there are truly signs without merit you will not be expected to install them. All other signs need to be installed prior to
final acceptance of the infrastructure.

There are only a few signs that I question on the basis of merit - the question I have is how Duke is being held responsible
for 20+ signs and additional pavement markings not shown on the approved set of plans or shown in any of the City
details.
I'll be glad to meet any time you are free to discuss.
Thanks
Alex

Alex,
I have reviewed the list of signs.
My question is whether you feel the signs are not necessary, or if you think that Duke should not be responsible for the
installation.
We would be happy to sit down with you and Jack to discuss the merits of the signs on a case by case basis.
I'm out tomorrow, but we can set something up for next week.

Keith-
Please review the attached list of signs/markings. I'm working toward a final punch list but am having a hard time figuring
out how we are responsible for these items when a majority of the items on the list are not on the approved plans and are
not addressed anywhere in the City's standard details.
Please call to discuss.
