Dear Mr. Deaton~
We received the copy of Vista Ridge Floodplain Reclamation Study on Denton
Creek dated February 1985. We appreciate your timely response in providing
the City with the report. As you may recall, during the September 14, 1990
sub-committee-meeting regarding the City Wide Storm Water Management Study
Report, we also discussed the extension of MacArthur Boulevard as it relates
to floodplain management.
Please note that we were unable to find the hydraulic models for MacArthur
Boulevard crossing Denton Creek in the subject reclamation study. As directed
by the sub-committee, we respectfully request that you provide the MacArthur
Boulevard's hydraulic models based on the approved construction plans. The
related models can then be incorporated into our Storm Water Management Study
Report. It is also the policy of the City of Coppell that any development and
construction plans within the floodplain/floodway area be submitted, thru the
City, to FEMA.
Again, we appreciate your cooperation in providing related information as we
have been requesting. Please provide the needed hydraulic models on MacArthur
Boulevard by December 13, 1990.
