Re: MacArthur Blvd. at Denton Creek
Dear Shohre:
Construction of the MaeArthur Blvd. bridge across Denton Creek has required that streamflow in this
section of the creek be temporarily diverted to the flood control channel. This diversion was required so
that the concrete slope paving and storm drainage under the bridge could be placed in a dry streambed.
This concrete work has recently been completed. We anticipate that earth and sandbag diversion dikes will
be removed within a few days so that the streamflow in Denton Creek will return to its pre-construction
condition.
