Waterstop Gasket

Lamson Vylon Pipe's manhole waterstop is an effective method of preventing the infiltration
of water between Vylon pipe and a poured in place manhole. The gasket makes a watertight
cOmpression fit on exterior of Vylon pipe.

The gasket is approximately 3" long and is sized lot maximum compression against the
Vylon pipe. The overall height of the gasket, (including fins and cleats), is 1:'

Installation
1. Cut Vylon pipe to length. Seal end channels as instructed in the Lamson Vylon Pipe
Installation Guide.
2. Stretch waterstop gasket and position on pipe. The three fins are placed against the pipe
surface and the cleats should be embedded in the concrete, see Figure 2. The waterstop
should be positioned to be in the middle ot the wall. No lubricant should be uCed.
