The project is complete, but has not had a final inspection and has not been accepted by the State. We are still working on differences in quantities for payment ,with the contractor on certain items.I will get in touch with you in the near future, for a walk through of the project with the contractor. I have documents that I will be sending to you, that pertain to concrete and asphalt design along with concrete flexural test results. Also enclosed will be the field survey drawings and photographs, we have in the file for this project. To our knowledge no as built drawings exist, and we do not anticipate any cost savings that would result in a monetary refund to the City of Coppell. I will e-mail and co-ordinate with you and the contractor, the soonest available time convenient for all parties for the walk through. Respectfully Wayne D.McHam, TxDOT inspector , CMac #10 >>> "Ken Griffin" <kgriffin@ci.coppell.tx.us> 02/18/05 10:16 AM >>> Mr. McHam I'm following up on the work on MacArthur Blvd. associated with CMAQ Project 10. 1) Has the project been completed and accepted by the state? 2) Will there be any "Record" drawings produced and provided to the City for our files? 3) Was there any cost savings on the project that would result in a reimbursement of funds to the City? If you are not the correct person that I should be speaking to, please let me know who I should address this questions to. Thanks Ken Griffin P. E.
