Gentlemen,
Thanks for meeting with us yesterday to discuss this work effort. As I have said, we have more flexibility fro road closures
during this week and next week while the school on Southwestern is closed for the holiday break. If your contractor is able
to begin work on Monday (12/28/09) we will allow closure of the westbound lanes of Southwestern at the intersection of
Denton Tap/Belt Line. If work does not begin, or if it continues beyond 1/03/2010 they will be required to maintain at least
one lane of traffic in each direction. Of course closure of any lanes of traffic will require the use of appropriate traffic
control devices.
Please have you contractor submit his permit request for approval prior to commencing any work. If you have any
questions, please contact me via email, as I will be out of the office next week. The inspector, Rick O'Dell can be reached
via cell phone at 469-576-7709.

Attached is our proposal for adjusting our conduit at Southwestern and
Denton Tap. We plan on raising the conduit and encasing it in split
steel pipe to clear the proposed 72" RCP.
Please review this and let us know if you have any questions. If you
are ok with this plan, let me know what we need to do to in order to
obtain an excavation permit.

A contractor working for AT&T may be working in the westbound lane of Southwestern Blvd during the week of 12/28/2009. We
have given them permission to close the road in the are of their work activity during this week. See the attached sketch for more
information.
Rick O'Dell will be supervising this activity. If any problems arise he can be reached on his cell phone at 469-576-7709.
You will be notified prior to the closure taking place, and again when the closure is lifted. The closure will be lifted no later than
1/3/10.
