Paving & Drainage Improvements
Coppell, Texas
Dear Russell:
As a result of a meeting between Dan Dowdey, P.E. of our firm and Phil
Deaton, P.E. of Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation concerning specific
geometric considerations between station 208+50± and station 221+00± along
the above referenced project, I am submitting various improvements that
we would like to have included in the plans.
1. A 28' back-to-back street approach with header at station
209+23.21± (Lt.) (C.L. street approach)
2. A 28' back-to-back street approach with header at station
217+19± (Lt.) (C.L. street approach)
3. A 32.17' face-to-face drive approach with header at station
218+33.50 (Rt.) (C.L. drive approach)
4. Revised median opening, nose station 208+92± for future
entrance into street (Item No. 1)
5. A left-turn lane for future entrance into street (Item No.
2). The lane should have a 100 ft. minimum storage capacity.
6. A left-turn lane for future entrance into drive (Item No.
3). The lane should have a 60 ft. minimum storage capacity.
I have enclosed four (4) sets of paving and drainage plans for your review
and distribution. Also enclosed is a copy of a letter from Phil Deaton,
P.E., which briefly explains the purpose for the review.
