I returned Mr. Hawkins call - He wanted to speak to Clay about the meeting we had with him and Ken
concerning the flood plain and what can be graded, filled, etc. and when.
Apparently he submitted a grading permit application to Engineering Department... but Engineering would not
release the permit due to the lack of GRADING PLANS AND EROSION CONTROL PLANS to go along with the
Permit application!!! (Ken told Mr. Hawkins all this earlier today)
He also needs to submit a tree removal permit, prior to removing trees, prior to grading any land out there..
I also explained to him that these are technical/legal and NOT discretionary/political issues...
