Alexander Ct-SY070703 Page 1 of 1 Ken Griffin - Floodplain maps From:   Ken Griffin To:   Walter Skipwith Date:   7/3/2007 9:30 AM Subject:   Floodplain maps   Walter   I noticed that Flower Mound received their preliminary flood plain maps last week.  Any time line on when Coppell will received our preliminary maps?   On another issue, I have had a flood plain study submitted by Nathan Maier and reviewed by Kimley-Horn, but I'm still concerned about it.  It's at the north west corner of Denton Tap and Bethel Road.  My concern stems from the fact that according to the study, the 100 year elevation is lowering around 5 feet.  I'm typically ok with some minor adjustments, but 5 feet causes me concern.  The submittal to FEMA is on a tight schedule, but I would like to explore the following with you: If you have someone that understands all the ins and outs of the studies, I would like to see if they are available on Thursday or Friday of this week to meet with me to go over the study.  I would pay your going rate for this service.  I would hope that the time would only be a couple of hours, but if it takes longer I'm ok with that also.  Let me know if it will be possible to get together with someone this week.  I'm available Thursday morning or Friday afternoon.   Thanks for your consideration.     Ken Griffin, P.
