RE: Dallas Water Supply Line No. 3
Dear Mr. Griffin:
As agreed upon in our last meeting, we are herewith sending to you a copy of the
construction plans and specifications for each of Section 2A & 2C and Section 3B of
the Dallas Water Supply Line No. 3. Included also are copies of the award of each
contract and a bid tabulation of the project showing all the bidders. The successful
bidder on Section 3B was J. C. Evans Construction Co. in the amount of
$1,000,153.00 and 100 calendar days. The successful bidder on Section 2A & 2C was
Pate Brothers Construction Co. in the amount of $1,018,550.39 and 100 calendar
days· The project was approved by the Irving City Council on February 22, 1996 by
Council Resolution No. 2-22-96-085. Both projects are presently under construction.
Once again, please accept our apologies for not communicating with you ea~ier,
before the award of the contracts. There will be confirmation shortly as to the
financial resolution of these projects· Thank you again for the cooperative manner in
which this situation has been handled. If there are any questions or if we can assist in
any way, please do not hesitate to call upon us.
