E- Cycling Set
for Saturday

The City of Coppell will
offer drop -off recycling of
electronic equipment, includ-
ing cell phones, computers
and televisions, this Saturday,
January 23, from 9:00 a.m.
to noon at Town Center, 255
Parkway Boulevard. The
event is organized by Keep
Coppell Beautiful.
Computers, phones and
related equipment may be
recycled free of charge.
There will be a $7 cash -only
fee for computer monitors
and a $12 fee for televisions.
The City offers e- cycling
several times a year.

Road Construction Progresses on South Side

Road work is making pro-
gress in south Coppell, accord-
ing to City Manager Clay Phillips
during a recent Council meeting,
with concrete poured on S.
Coppell Road and a timeline of
about six to eight weeks until
completion.
On Southwestern Boulevard,
concrete has been poured from
S. Coppell Road to the bridge,
which has been reconstructed.
The other half of the bridge will
be poured soon, and the City is
anticipating an August 1 comple-
tion date, said Phillips.
Traffic is being rerouted for
the S. Coppell Road project, but
Southwestern Boulevard re-
mains open, with new construc-
tion occuring parallel to the old

gram is underway and in the design phase,

Southwestern Boulevard construction work will be in two phases, with con-
crete to be poured on the other half of the bridge soon.
