RE: Red Hawk
Plan Review Comments (2 "d submittal)
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
Paving Plan (sheet 6/17)
1. Is there enough room for a transition on the curb inlet in between the driveways of Lot 3?
How will the driveway's curb returns avoid the inlet whether they are flared or have a
radius?
2. The slope at the intersection of Washington court is pretty flat; with the 2% cross slope at the
ramps there may be an area of ponding near the ramp. If you placed the inlet on the property
line of lot 24 and 25 you may have a better chance of picking up the water. See comments
on sheet 8.
3. There should be a driveway access to the cemetery.
4. Better pedestrian access to Lot 27 Block A will need to be provided for the residences of
Block B.
Drainage Plan (Sheet 10/17)
5. Check inlet design calculations, ensure that these are correct. It appears that there may be
some overflow.
6. Provide an outfall /headwall detail.
Water and Sanitary Sewer Plan
7. Waterline tie -in is in Denton Tap Rd. Contractor to provide traffic control 48 hours prior to
start of work.
There may be additional comments written on the plans that need to be addressed. Once the
necessary corrections have been made, please return this marked -up set and two sets of revised
plans to the City for review. If you have any questions or need any additional information, please
contact the Engineering Department at your convenience.
