Alexander Ct-CS080403 (2) Page 1 of 1 Ken Griffin - Final Plat - Alexander Court From:Marcie Diamond     To:dritter@toase.com     Date:4/3/2008 4:52 PM     Subject:   Final Plat - Alexander Court CC:   Clay Phillips;  David Dodd;  Gary Sieb;  Ken Griffin   David, As you are aware the Final Plat for Alexander Court was submitted on March 17 for consideration by P&Z on April 17th.   The document submitted on March 17th indicated the pre-LOMR flood plain line and graphically indicated the "to be abandoned sanitary sewer easement"  on the plat.  This submission was used to allow the issuance of a building permit for the screening wall (even though the entry features were not included).   Development Review Committee (DRC) Comments included: showing the revised flood plain (per the LOMR), deleting all references to "no building permits until..." and graphically indicating the "to be abandoned sanitary sewer easement"  on the inset on the second page, as was shown on the first page of the plat submitted on March 17th..     However, the Final Plat submitted to DRC today deleted any and all graphic representations of the "to be abandoned sanitary sewer easement".    When questioned, Mr. Hawkins said that the attorneys said that he does not need to show it at all, the existing note on page one suffice, and it was a legal issue.   This was a major issue/discussion item internally and at the previous P&Z meeting.....as stewards of the public, etc.  it needed to be shown..  It was my understanding, at the very least an inset on page 1, w/this graphic representation would be required.    Please advise            Marcie Diamond,  AICP Assistant Director of Planning City of Coppell 972-304-3676 www.ci.coppell.tx.us file://C:\Documents and Settings\radloo\Local Settings\Temp\XPgrpwise\47F50B56City_o...2/19/2010
