I apologize that I did indeed use sections too far downstream — my oversight (long weekend) and I'm sorry this took up your time unnecessarily. The sections in question (27050 and 26880) have ROB n values of 0.075 and 0.07. When I increased it to 0.08, it did indeed show a rise upstream. The other change I made was that I was using the Floodway geometry file (hence the encroachments you saw) to be conservative — I went back to the original floodplain geometry without encroachments. will discuss with the homeowners the option of adding cross sections to produce more detailed modeling.
