Re: Denton Tap Floodplain Revision Case No. 88-06-13R
Dear Mr. Miller:
On September 23, 1987, Mr. Wayne Ginn, P.E., acting as City
Engineer for the city of Coppell, Texas, submitted a request for
a Conditional Letter of Map Revision for Denton Tap Road bridge
replacement. Accompanying this request was a report entitled
Floodplain Hydraulics Study, Grapevine Creek, Coppell, Texas,
dated September 22, 1987, prepared by Kimley-Horn and Associates,
Inc. This Conditional Request was approved by letter of MaTch 4,
1988, and construction began.
We have now completed construction of the bridge and respectfully
request that FEMA now issue a final Letter of Map Revision as per
National Flood Insurance Program Regulations. In support of this
request we have attached a study entitled Floodplain Hydraulics
Study, Grapevine Creek, Coppell, Texas, As-Built Study of Denton
Tap Road Bridge Replacement.
We will be happy to provide any additional information as
required, or you may contact Mr. Ron Morrison of Kimley-Horn and
Associates for further information regarding the report.
