Keith,
We are stopping short of that intersection with the TxDOT portion. We
have it shown as beyond the limits of this phase. We have not made any
major changes to that section since you last saw it. We are updating
the bridge per our discussions with you and TxDOT to include T411 rails
instead of the Coppell Standard. Other than that, most everything else
is virtually the same, from a design standpoint.

Matt,
As long as there have been no major changes since we saw the preliminary
drawings we should be ok with it.
We are not including the intersection of South Coppell Road with the
TXDOT portion are we?

Keith,
Sounds like we are on the same page! We will widen it out for the
channelized turn lanes and make a nice smooth transition into their
section.
We should be ready to submit the schematic to you this week. Do you
(3/9/2010) Keith Marvin - RE: Sandy Lake Road & Coppell Road SouthPage 2
want us to go ahead and submit to TxDOT as well to start their review
timeline or wait until you look at it? I thought that if you had any
major comments, we could revise and resubmit to TxDOT probably before
they actually looked at the first submittal. We are open to either way
you would prefer. Thanks and have a good evening!

Matt,
The 34' section is what was selected for the South Coppell Road Project.
Where you tie in should match that width.
There will be some changes as we approach the intersection to
accommodate the right turn lanes.
Call me if we need to talk about it more.
Thanks!

Good Afternoon Keith,
We are forging ahead on the Sandy Lake Road project and we have come
across a discrepancy between what we show and what Huitt Zollars has
shown. I don't believe it is anything big and probably a really easy
fix, but I wanted to get your opinion for sure. Their section of
Coppell Road South is designed at 34'B-B and we were showing a 37'B-B
per the standard details. Do you want us to extend the 34' section all

the way to Sandy Lake?
Thanks and have a great day!
