The two -year term on the above referenced maintenance bond began on February 21, 2008, which
was the date of final acceptance of the project. For your information, I have been corresponding
with L.H. Lacey Company since July 29, 2009 regarding pavement failures in this development.
A periodic follow -up inspection of the facilities revealed pavement settling problems at various
locations, many of which are near and around fire hydrants installed by your company. My
previous letters have gone to Cyle Burchfield of L.H. Lacey, and I have spoken with Tod Feazell in
the field. It seems to be their contention that the settling is due to a problem with the fire hydrant
installation done in some locations by San Saba Construction.

solution before your surety is contacted.
