From reviewing our records, I have the following information:
The City of Coppell, in conjunction with the design engineer, hosted the
public meeting on 12/07/2004.
The meeting was conducted here at City Hall. There were no TxDOT
representatives present.
There was no interpreter present, and none requested by any of the
attendees.
Meeting notices were sent to over 1,000 households in and around the
project area. The meeting information was also posted in the paper and
on the City Web site.
I am attaching a memo prepared by the Director of Engineering after the
meeting outlining what came out of the meeting. Bear in mind that this
meeting covered the length of the city project from North Coppell Road
to Denton Tap, which is considerably longer than the area you are
studying.
Gary Sieb is the Director of Planning for the City of Coppell. You are
welcome to contact him regarding your other question. If he can not
provide you the information you need, please let me know. Gary can be

I'm sorry, I got you and Matt Atkins mixed up. Please disregard my last

However, you may be able to help us with some information about the
public meeting that was held on December 7, 2004. Was it held by the
city? Where was the meeting conducted? Were TxDOT personnel in
attendance? Were there any objections voiced? Was there a Spanish
speaking interpreter present? Also, any other information that you
think might be of any importance would be appreciated. Thank you for
