The portion that lies between Coppell Road North and Coppell Road South and contains the bridge over Cottonwood Creek is currently under state control. As I understand our current status, we are awaiting environmental clearance. The purpose of this email is to request that you or your staff inquire into the status of this project on our behalf, and to see if there is anything that can be done to speed the process along. We recently received the latest bridge inspection report for the bridge contained within this portion of the project, and it is noted that the load posting of this bridge should be reduced to 15,000 LBS from the Current 21,000 LBS axle or tandem. As one of our few east-west routes through town, this reduction causes us concern, and increases our desire to get this portion of the road moving toward construction. Any help you can provide in speeding up this process would be appreciated. Keith Keith Marvin, P.E.
