Ms. Larson,
During the reconstruction of Bethel (#ST 03-01 - BETHEL RD. II-A, Bethel Road from Denton Tap Rd. to Penfolds Ln.) we will have a new
speed limit sign installed. The project is scheduled to start late spring this year.
If you need anything else please feel free to contact me.
Thank You, George

Thank you!
I've lived here for over 5 years (before that I lived on the other side of
the creek from the site for 12 years) and the only sign I can every remember
seeing it the one I mentioned. I asked about adding a sign not too long
after I moved here but it went nowhere.
Thanks again for passing this on...I'm really wondering if the state has
limits on the lines especially in proximity to a residence. We'll see.
Warm regards,
Virginia Larson

Ms. Larson,
I emailed the Public Utility Commission and submitted your question to them
about maximum number of lines allowed per pole. I cc:'d your email address
and asked that they send the answer to both you and me. Franchise utilities
have been deregulated since 1996, so I am also interested to know the answer
to your question.
By the way, one of our engineers did a site visit to the portion of Bethel
Rd that you inquired about for speed limit signs (ticket #VION-619644) and
we believe that one was removed temporarily in front of the new house being
built at 234 W. Bethel. It will be restored if that is the case, and he is
also investigating whether there should be one westbound in the Old Town
area.
Thank you for your interest. Please let us know if we can help with other
concerns you may have.
