Golding, Sr. Partner Champion Parmers 15601 Dallas Parkway, Suite 500 Addison, TX 75001 Re: Bethel Road Reconstruction Project SS 94-02c ST Dear Mr. Golding: Based on our prior conversations and our meeting of February 3, 2000, I have obtained a revised cost for construction of full depth asphalt paving on Bethel Road for approximately 870 feet east of the intersection of Royal Lane with Bethel Road. The 870 feet will terminate immediately east of the western most driveway for the Bulk Postal Facility on Bethel Road. The revised cost for the 870 feet is $93,960. This includes the removal of approximately 14 inches of existing material, placement of eight inches of base material and six inches of asphalt material. Because the 870 feet is being reconstructed to a full depth asphalt road, the City of Coppell will allow your tractor/trailer traffic on that section of roadway to access your proposed facility on the north side of Bethel Road. The closure of Bethel Road is starting to have an impact on the businesses near Coppell Road and Bethel Road, therefore our timetable for this work is immediate. We have been contacted by several of the business owners in that area trying to determine when the road would be reopened. To keep this project on track, a check in the amount of $93,960 should be provided to the City of Coppell no later than Friday, February 11, 2000. To provide proper direction to our contractor, a letter of commitment from your firm is required by Monday, February 7, 2000 that states your intention to provide the funding by Friday, February 11, 2000. Again, the reconstruction of Bethel Road to the full depth asphalt paving approximately 870 feet east of the Royal/Bethel intersection will allow the proposed development on the north side of Bethel Road the opportunity to access their site with tractor/trailers via Bethel Road.
